This doesn't matter because Patti Smith is the best ever-- she rocks, and I don't care what she looks like, but I'm so confused about her stance on drugs-- she LOOKS like she has done lots, her songs-- when they are not directly referencing drugs, sound like they were written while she was on drugs, but I've read that she is very anti-drugs, (or at least she was) she said when she was a child she had a lot of illnesses and it caused her to want to keep her body healthy and pure, but she sure doesn't look very healthy or pure. Then again, she didn't look all that healthy to begin with-- back 30 years ago in 1976. Free money is a great song-- written about her mother who always dreamed of winning the lottery, but never actually bought a ticket.
This is the year of all my favorite musicians releases. We started off with Patty Griffin's "Children Running Through", we have Patti Smith's cover album, "Twelve" Tori not far behind with "American Doll Posse" PJ Harvey and Portishead are both supposed to release albums this year as well!
